The post

On Monday, we spoke with Dr. Bobby Dubois about whether organic food is “worth it.”

The takeaway: Organic food doesn’t seem to be meaningfully healthier than conventional. But it’s definitely more expensive.

Dr. Bobby’s larger point is that financial resources are limited, so we should spend money on health practices that move the dial.

Which raises the question: what does move the dial? What are some of the highest return investments on your health? That’s what this post is about.

I combed through the research and went back and forth with Dr. Bobby (who is an M.D. and has a Ph.D. in health policy) about purchases and practices that deliver a real impact. Some of them really surprised me—but the numbers don’t lie.

Here are 14 investments that have a massive bang-for-buck. The result: You’ll get more health out of each dollar you spend.

From here you’ll learn:
-The 14 best investments for your health, backed by data.
-Some of them are free.
-All of them are high-impact, simple, and actionable right now.
