Great workout suggestion! Curious at your level, do you focus on progressive overloading or do just hit some hard total body workouts? In other words, do have a multi week plan or is this more maintenance?

It depends on what my goal is.

If I don't have a goal, I just try to lift two times a week. Then I do something endurance based three days. Then I usually do a Burn the Ships one day. Then I take one day off.

If I'm training for something specific, I'll use a targeted plan that involved progressive overloading and peaking at the right moment. Most of those plans are geared to the stuff I do outdoors—E.g., a big backcountry hunt.

I'm releasing a big outdoor-centric plan in the near future.

The difference between exercise with and without a goal is worth exploring in more depth in the future…
