Alternative ending..."Have fun, don’t die, and STAY WEIRD". I am glad other people here feel like weirdos in their real life living the 2% way. We sure do catch a lot of flak!
Yes!! Every time I take the stairs to baggage claim at DIA (you know the unsexy hidden stairwell next to the train, anyone?) and I see others taking the stairs there’s a silent 2% camaraderie 😁
I know that staircase, Anne. When I see everyone else cueing up for the escalator, it always reminds me of cattle funneling down the shoot to their demise.
It has always annoyed me when people ask for specific ways to work out in your 40s 50s and 60s
If you are healthy there is no reason that you can’t work out in your 40s 50s and 60s like you did when you were in your 20s and 30s
You may not be able to lift as much or run as fast but you can still do the workout
I am a 64 year old woman and I ruck, lift and started Muay Thai last July. My husband is 66 and he lifts, skis, mountain bikes and went back to karate after 40 years.
Stairs, yes! Since becoming a 2%-er I always take the stairs. I travel about 43% of the time for my job. That is a lot of airport stairs, and I always make sure my hotel room is on the 3rd floor or higher...and take the stairs!
I’ve been a subscriber since day one. I didn’t fill out the survey but it looks like everyone said what I was thinking. I’m not as active as I have been in the past (or as I want to be), as I’m currently going back to school full time at age 47 while still working full time and being a husband and dad of five. Trying to get back into some kind of routine now and your columns always give me something to think about. Thanks for all you do, Michael!
I received my copy of Walk With Weight today, thanks, it's sweet! Love the size too. I guess I didn't see that in the description, but love it. You are a busy dude, thanks for everything that you do and share and just being you. Very much appreciated.
Thanks for summarizing the survey results, was fun to join in and add a few thoughts.
I’ve been a paid subscriber since day 1 (wasn’t it may 2023 when it broke ground?) and have no plans on cancelling my subscription. There are not many health influencers that I have followed in the past that have kept my interest in what they say and recommend for this long. The fact that, over time, new topics that I find important and of value keeps me here. Keep up the great work!
I don't have to travel often, but when I do, I like to carry my carry-on as often as possible. A flight attendant once told me there's enough room for me to wheel it in the aisle and I said thanks but I'm good & he looked at me like I'm crazy.
The funny thing is that people want to be weird with you once they buy in. I have even started a small rucking group in my small, not fitness friendly, town and hoping to see it grow this summer.

And all this time I thought I was the only one that knew about them!

You’ve built something special brother. Best online community I’m a part of. Thank you
Love love this place I call home. Thanks Michael and family!
Thanks for being part of it.
Long live 2%
Amen.
Plus on the stairs. Every time I’m confronted with stairs, I think about Easter—whether I want to or not!

One of the last online places I wish to be involved with.
Thanks for being here!
Good crowd to be part of!

Have fun, don't die and keep on getting after it.
Enjoy the book!

Nicely done.
