The post

On Monday, we covered five tips to be a better public speaker.

That same day, I gave a talk to a corporation outside of Philadelphia. In the Q&A, someone asked me, “What has writing your books taught you about leadership?”

Great question.

There are plenty of studies on leadership qualities. They generally find that leaders are energetic and outgoing, dependable, curious, and emotionally steady. They balance a good IQ with an equally strong EQ, or people skills.

I think most of this research is valid. But I tend to view leadership less as a set of personality traits and more as a set of actions—and how those actions express themselves when a problem or crisis arises.

Because of that, I think ancient myths and religious texts offer a clearer path to leadership than most modern scientific checklists.

From here you’ll learn:
-What ancient wisdom and myths can tell us about leadership.
-The singular quality that makes a good leader.
-How to apply it to become a better leader, build stronger teams, and identify true leaders.
